Students will participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion on the beaches of Normandy alongside the veterans who were there. This will probably be the last major D-Day anniversary that the veterans will be alive to participate. The tour will be led and organized by EF Tours, a reputable student travel company. Students will also get to experience London and Paris in light of World War II as they explore significant locations and tour though historic buildings. The price above is guaranteed through January. Students also are able to participate in easy online fundraising through the EF site.

The story of World War II in the United Kingdom and France is a tale of innovation and an unrelenting movement to carry on in the face of adversity.
Experience a narrative of World War II—on both sides of the English Channel—of resistance and triumph in the face of oppression. Follow in the footsteps of Allied soldiers pushing to liberate France before and after the D-Day landings.

Students will serve as ambassadors to our Bloomington Christian Schools in China. During the two weeks, students will visit Shanghai, Yangzhou, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guilin, and Hong Kong. There will also be guided excursions to the Great Wall, Tianamen Square, The Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Reed Flute Cave, Li River, The Bund, Yu Gardens, Slender West Lake, and Shanghai Disney. Students must have a passport and a valid Chinese visa.

Students will have the opportunity to walk into history at the nation's capital. Students will get to explore the monuments and museums of the National Mall, including the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, World War II Memorial, Washington Monument, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, DC War Memorial, the White House, and a host of Smithsonian museums. Students will also get to take a historical exploration through New York City and Philadelphia.

Mexico

Students will serve at Mount of Olives Orphanage in Baja California. They will also work on construction and gardening projects. Before the trip, students will collect clothing and food donations to bless the families they visit. In addition, students will run a Vacation Bible School program. There are also fun tourism excursions to Ensenada and Las Canadas Recreation Park.
