About BCS

The Vision of Bloomington Christian School is to cultivate an atmosphere conducive for students to know Christ as Savior and Lord, to develop Christ-like character among our students, develop a positive self-image as a unique individual created in God’s image, and to provide and encourage student’s skills necessary to graduate and become a productive Christian member of society. To accomplish our goals, we encourage our students to grow spiritually, academically, socially and physically in all our classes and activities at BCS.

Our distinctives:

  •  A Quality Christian Environment
  •  Distinctive Academic Program
  •  High Impact Chapel Each Week
  •  Sports programs for Elementary thru High School

BCS is accredited from Kindergarten through 12th Grade through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

Before and after school care is available on each campus from 6:00 am -6:00 pm.

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, given to us which have been in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:19

At BCS we are "Building a Bridge of Christ's Love, to our World, through Christian Education". Our goal is to impact the lives of the children and families who attend our school and change the world through the Love of Christ.

BCS continues to plan for the future and meet the needs of our students in ever-increasing ways.

We are a ministry of the Bridge church and share their vision of winning the lost in this community to Jesus.

Our spiritual vision is to prepare our students to have a Christian impact in the world through whatever vocation they are in. This will be done by spiritual retreats, ministry outreach, and mission trips.

Academic needs will be increased through the broader application and usage of honors classes, vocational classes for the high school, and the addition of a fully trained and staffed resource program for K-12. The addition of these programs will allow us to improve the outcomes of the students.

Physically BCS wishes to complete the campuses by working with the Bridge Church to expand classroom facilities and add a sports complex with the addition of land at the West Campus.
